About the project
Petbuddy is a platform created to connect pet owners with a range of services tailored for their furry companions. Whether it’s pet sitting, dog walking, house visits while traveling, veterinary care, or grooming, users can easily post ads or search for trusted providers. The platform also empowers pet sitters and service providers to create detailed profiles and showcase their offerings.
As the sole designer for this project, I led the entire design process from concept to completion. Collaborating with a content creator who provided an initial wireframe outline, I expanded and refined the design to ensure the app met the needs of both pet owners and service providers. The result was a user-friendly experience that brought convenience and reliability to both sides of the platform.
Since the client had no existing branding, I developed the visual foundation for the website, including color palette and typography, ensuring a consistent and appealing look and feel
User flow
With the presence of two roles – advertiser and pet sitter – on the website, the user journeys will differ at certain points in the flow based on the assigned role, offering a customized experience for each user type.

Search ads feature
The homepage showcases a curated list of ads, easily searchable by city, service type, and date. This functionality is accessible to all user types—unregistered visitors, advertisers, and service providers. However, unregistered users can only browse the listings; messaging ad creators requires registration.
Pet sitter profiles
Service providers, such as pet sitters and dog walkers, can create detailed profiles to showcase their offerings. They can upload a photo, write about themselves, specify the services they provide, set their hourly rates, and gather reviews from users. These reviews help build trust and credibility with potential clients. Profiles are searchable by city, service type, and rate, making it easy for pet owners to find the perfect match for their needs.
